Письмо о климате России

Dear friend,
I would like to write about the Russian climate.  My country is the biggest country in the world.  We have huge territories in the north.  The climate there is very cold.  It often snows and the summer is very short there.  In the south the climate is much milder and in the summer it can be very hot there.  In the west the climate is more or less mild but it often rains.  It is also very foggy there especially in the autumn.  The east of the country has the most imteresting climate with cold winters and very warm but short summers.  Anybody who travels to Russia can experience totally different climates within the border of one country.  Hope to hear from you soon.
