Fixies aretiny creatures that live inside machines and repair devices when they breakdown. Fixies look like humans but they are so little you hardly can see them. Fixiesalways hide from people because they are afraid that people will catch them andput in a cage for experiments. Fixies have a very useful ability to turn into ascrew. When a Fixie becomes a screw it is almost impossible to distinguish him fromthe real one. That’s why most humans don’t know anything about Fixies and neverheard about them.

A family ofFixies lives in the house of a boy named Dim Dimych. There are four of them:Father named Papus, Mother named Masya and their children named Simka and Nolik.They are all very kind, nice and very responsible. They carefully fix any machinesthat break down. Simka is already quite big, she is a very sensible girl. Sheknows a lot about different devices and can fix many of them. She has already got a backpack-helper with a huge amount of tools for repairs. Nolik is alittle friendly boy. He is very curious and like all children he loves to play withtoys. Nolik almost nothing can repair yet, but he really wants to learn this.
