Прочитайте текст и определите, что понравилось Вигдис в Лондоне и в Британии в целом, а что нет. Before going to England Id heard a lot about it. Some things in London were as I had expected. English people are considered to be reserved. Thats true. I laughed when I went on the underground and saw people sitting and reading newspapers. I couldnt understand why no one talked or smiled. But some things were not as I had expected. I had seen beautiful photos of tourists sights, like Piccadilly Circus and Buckingham Palace, but I hadnt seen pictures of ugly parts of London. To my surprise, in London there are dirty streets. British people surprised me too. I hadnt expected London to be so international, with so many people from dirt parts of the world. I couldnt understand the Scottish and Irish people that I met. I couldnt always understand the Londoners. The family I lived with was another surprise; the children spent a lot of time indoors, watching television or playing with the toys. They didnt go out alone. Their mothers took them to and from school.

She (he?)  liked the beautiful sights.  But she didnt like the dirty places.  She also didnt like that there are so many people from other parts of the world who didnt keep London clean.  It was an unpleasant surprise for her that Londoners didnt smile.  She couldnt understand many of them either. Children didnt go out much.  She didnt like it either.
