Youll get access to information on any subject. Nobody needs that muc knowledge. We live in the information age anyway, and you already get moi information than you want. If you make a bad mistake and learn just or language, English for example, youll be able to surf the net day and nigh because most of the websites on the Internet are in English. You will also t able to read any book on any subject. Most books in the world have English translations. But reading all night and surfing the net are really bad for yoi health, dont you agree? Youll learn all about your favourite music group. Imagine that one da youll be able to understand the words of all your favourite English sonЈ What if they are not as good as you thought? Or think: youll be able to watch British and American films in the origin language. Who knows, you may never want to listen to bad translations agai Dont start! Но вот уже несколько лет, как никто не подходит к этой реке. В этот раз мы снова собрались компанией. "Ребята, мы так давно не купались! Давайте сейчас же сходим!"-сказал Джон. Через час мы уже веселились на берегу. Меня беспокоило тревожное чувство:"почему столько лет сюда никто не ходит?" Когда все вышли из воды и разобрали свои полотенца, одно осталось лежать. "Аня! Ребята, где Аня?"-закричала я. Аня нас не слышала. Она пропала. Мы бросились искать её повсюду. Некоторые стали нырять. Все безуспешно. Её никто не видел. Мои глаза наполнились слезами. Я не знала, смогу ли увидеть её снова. Через несколько секунд мы услышали странные звуки, подошли к реке. "Аня!" Закричали мы и стали помогать ей выбраться. The UK is made up of four countries: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. GB consists of England, Scotland and Wales and doesnt include Northern Ireland. The capital of the UK is London. The British Isles are separated from European continent by the North Sea and the English Channel. The western coast of GB is washed by the Atlantic Ocean and the Irish Sea. The surface of the British Isles varies very much. The north of Scotland is mountainous and is called the Highlands, while the south with its beautiful valleys and plains is called the Lowlands. There are a lot of rivers in GB, but they are not very long. The Severn is the longest river, while the Thames is the deepest and the most important one. The mountains, the Atlantic Ocean and the warm waters of the Gulf Stream influence the climate of the British Isles. The weather in GB is very changeable. A fine morning can change into a wet afternoon and evening and vice versa. The English people say: "Other countries have a climate; in England we have weather." The English also say that they have three variants of weather: when it rains in the morning, when it rains in the afternoon or when it rains all day long.
